On October 9, 2025, our community suffered an unimaginable loss. Preston Samuel Walker — a proud Clear Creek High School JROTC graduate, beloved son, brother, and friend — was tragically taken from us in a car accident. Preston graduated in May 2025 and had recently begun his studies at San Jacinto College, pursuing his passion for welding and building a bright future ahead.
Preston’s mother, my friend Serena Walker, is a devoted mom raising twins — Preston and his twin sister Brooklyn — who have always shared an extraordinary bond. As Serena faces the heartbreak no parent should ever endure, she also faces the unexpected costs of transporting Preston home to Atlanta, Georgia, and providing him with the loving, dignified farewell he deserves.
We are reaching out to our extended Clear Creek and JROTC families, as well as the greater community, to help lift Serena and Brooklyn up during this incredibly difficult time. Your contribution — no matter the amount — will directly help Serena cover funeral and transportation expenses, and remind this grieving family that they are surrounded by love and support.
Please join us in honoring Preston’s memory, celebrating his kind heart and bright spirit, and helping his family find comfort in knowing their community stands beside them.
“Those we love don’t go away; they walk beside us every day.”
