We remember with deep respect and gratitude Bradley Corke, a dedicated officer of Kent Police, who served his community with courage, commitment, and integrity.
I’m incredibly proud to be running the London Marathon this year in memory of Bradley Corke, a much-valued colleague who tragically lost his life.
Like many within Kent Police, his loss has had an impact on me and so many others. Bradley was not only a dedicated officer, but also a teammate who embodied everything good about policing - courage, commitment, integrity, and compassion.
At the request of Bradley’s family, the majority of funds raised will go to Air Ambulance Charity Kent Surrey Sussex. This incredible charity provides lifesaving emergency care to those in critical need, often in the most challenging circumstances. Supporting them is a meaningful way to honour Bradley’s memory.
I’m also very grateful to be running the marathon thanks to a place secured through Sense, after a friend sadly had to withdraw due to a personal family matter. Sense is a fantastic charity that supports people with complex disabilities to communicate, connect, and experience the world.
My fundraising plan is:
• 80% of all funds raised will go to Air Ambulance Charity Kent Surrey Sussex
• 20% will go to Sense, in recognition of this amazing opportunity that has been given to me
This is a huge personal challenge, but one driven by purpose. Every mile I run will be in memory of Bradley, and every donation, no matter how small, will help support two incredible charities.
I would be incredibly grateful for your support.
Thank you so much.
Jon Rogers
