Hi everyone,

We’re raising funds to help support our sister Gemma and niece Emma after the heartbreaking loss of their beloved 3-year-old French Bulldog, Pip.

Pip was Gemma’s little shadow and best friend. He was incredibly smart (the only dog who could figure out every toy that was ever bought for him), full of personality, and so deeply loved by Gemma and her daughter Emma. Pip has always been Gemma’s heart — her constant companion, her comfort, and a source of unconditional love.

From the very beginning, Pip went through a lot of complications in his early days, and he truly was a miracle puppy for making it as far as he did.

Over the past few weeks, Pip began to decline and the cause wasn’t clear at first. What started as a simple refusal to eat quickly turned into endless vet visits, tests, medications, and sleepless nights. Eventually, the doctors discovered that Pip had ingested something that caused an internal obstruction. As soon as they found it, they performed emergency surgery immediately, which involved operating on multiple organs. Sadly, Pip declined even faster post-surgery and passed away a few days later.

We created this GoFundMe to help ease the financial burden of the unexpected veterinary costs, including office visits, diagnostics/testing, medications, emergency surgery, and related care. This fundraiser is also a way to honor Pip’s life — the unconditional love he gave, and the piece of Gemma’s heart he took with him.

Pip was surrounded by love until his final moments, but his absence has left a pain and silence that feels impossible to carry. Pip is greatly missed, and Gemma and Emma are absolutely devastated.
