Forever Jung

December 16, 1970 - May 19, 2026

There are no right words for this. Philipp left us suddenly on May 19th, and those of us who loved him are still trying to understand a world that has him in it one day and not the next. He was 55. He was healthy. He was happy. He was, in every way that mattered, just beginning a new chapter.

Philipp’s partner, is six months pregnant with their son. The three of them were building a quiet, beautiful life in the mountains of Costa Rica — mornings by the river, long hikes, swims, the sauna, local food from the land, the kind of slowness Philipp had been searching for over many years. He was so ready to be a father.

If you're reading this, you probably already know who Philipp was to the world — one half of M.A.N.D.Y., co-founder of Get Physical Music, the heart behind "Body Language.”

For more than twenty years, he gave his music, his ear, his curiosity, and his enormous generosity to a global community of artists and ravers. But for those of us who knew him best, he was simply Phil, Philipp, Felipo — warm, funny, deeply kind, the friend who remembered the small things, the one who made every room feel a little more alive.

This page is for his son.

Everything raised here will go into an fund for their child— to help with the months and years ahead, and to lay some extra solid support beneath a little life that will grow up hearing stories about a father he didn't get to meet.

Anything you can offer — a dollar, a share, a memory left in the comments — becomes part of what holds them up.

We know grief moves in waves, and that the world will, in time, return to its rhythms. But the family will be carrying this for the rest of their lives, quietly, long after the headlines fade.

How the funds will be used:

* 100% of donations (after platform fees) will go into a fund established for Philipp's son and to support Valentina through her pregnancy and birth, the baby's first years, and his long-term education and care
