A beloved son, brother and friend was suddenly lost this week.

It is with great sadness to say that our dear Philip Minicozzi passed away in the early hours of February 24. His loss is a great one for all who knew him. No one was prepared for this to happen and it is all just too much for his family and friends to deal with.

Phil touched the hearts of every single person he came into contact with. Incredibly intelligent, an uncanny way with words and a sarcasm that made his personality sparkle. There was just no one like Phil.

When you needed him, he was there. If you needed to talk, he would listen. If you wanted real advice, he gave it. If he was able to do it for you, he would...in a heartbeat.

His absence has left a void that can never be filled. Not being able to just call him up to talk is going to be a hard reality for all those who knew and loved him. To never hear his infectious laugh again is something we will never get used to.

While his heart was always with those he loved, his soul was forever with this true love Jessica Wood. Their love story was like no other, the absolute best for each other in every way. May they forever rest in paradise together.

Our dearest Phil, we will miss you every day. We will continue to honor you and hold onto the sweet memories we all had with you.

You will be forever loved Phil by your family and friends!
