In loving memory of Philip Jespersen

Dear friends,

We are deeply saddened to inform you of the untimely passing of our dear friend Philip Jespersen. He is survived by his wonderful wife, four children, and aging parents.

He will be forever remembered as a man with a big kind heart and a contagious smile that could brighten anybody's day and touch everyone who had the pleasure of meeting him. He was passionate about international development and enjoyed sharing his fondest memories of life and adventures in Africa, where he spent most of his life. Philip was an ardent classical music lover, an avid photographer, a swimmer and a cyclist. He loved being in nature and enjoyed Greek philosophy and astronomy.

Philip fell ill suddenly last July and fought his hardest before tragically leaving us on May 3rd, 2023. Although he is gone, he leaves behind his wife and children for whom this gofundme has been created by his friends. We want his family to know they are not alone and that they have a community of people who care about them.
