In loving memory of Peter Roy Carty

Hello, my name is Makayla Baldwin, being 21 years old I never thought I would find myself doing this so soon. It is with sadness that I share the unexpected loss of my father Peter Roy Carty on Tuesday January 28th. Being a daddy's girl his loss has left me heartbroken.

Although this was unexpected, the last 2-3 years he was struggling with chronic COPD and early dementia but was doing so good at the time. A part from that my dad was a loving, kind, and funny man who brought joy to my life and others around him. He loved spending time with his loved ones, playing steel pan, listening to soca music and of course enjoying a well earned nap 3 or 4 times a day. His laughter warmth and love will deeply be missed, but his spirit will live forever in my heart.

With this being so sudden I am reaching out to family, friends and anyone who is willing to help out during this difficult time. While I grieve my family and I are faced with covering funeral expenses, as well as arrangements to honour and celebrate his life.
