After two months of heart and lung complications, Peter Leach, beloved father and husband, passed on the evening of August 12, 2020. He is survived by his two children, Brittany and Chris, and his wife of 20 years, Janis. He is remembered for his kindness, generosity and handyman ability to fix anything.
Mrs. Leach has nurtured many of our children over the years. She has shown our children care and given them strength. We love and appreciate her so much and would like to return some of that care and strength. Every shelf, bulletin board and curtain rod in Leachville was Peter’s handiwork. He valued her as a teacher and always helped her with the finishing touches. Even the barometer for the Ancient Barometer play! I still remember sitting down on Back to School night and finding handmade paper hamburgers at every student’s desk that Peter helped make. Mrs. Leach’s classroom is a reminder of his creativity and talent. I have started this gofundme to defray some of the funeral costs that their family will incur.
