In Loving Memory of Peter C.S. Lee

Peter Chew Soon Lee, 71, of Queens, New York, passed away on Wednesday, April 15, 2020. He had been hospitalized for several months after surviving an aortic rupture, but tragically died from health complications.
He was a beloved son, father, grandfather and respected U.S. Vietnam veteran. Peter was born in China and was raised in New York City. He is survived by his wife of 51 years, two children and a granddaughter.
He served in the U.S. Army First Cavalry and received 5 medals for his service. After being honorably discharged, he worked for the U.S. Postal Service for over 40 years, before retiring. He enjoyed watching action movies, listening to soft rock music, caring for his loving dogs and cats, and eating lots of good food.
The Lee family is doing their best to navigate this immense loss amid the COVID-19 pandemic and would greatly appreciate any donation to help with the funeral costs. We realize these are very challenging times and offering financial support may be difficult for some, but any amount is appreciated, as well as your thoughts and prayers.
Peter will be laid to rest at Calverton National Cemetery, Riverhead, N.Y., on Friday, May 8, 2020, immediately following a private funeral service.
