It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of my childhood friend, Peter Cortez, on March 18th he took his last breath.

Peter was more than a friend to me—he was like a brother. He brought so much light, laughter, and love into the lives of everyone who knew him.

During this incredibly difficult time, his grandmother—who loved and cared for him deeply—is facing the unexpected financial burden of laying him to rest. We are asking for any support, no matter how small, to help give Peter the proper burial he deserves.
