In Loving Memory of Pete Davies

Pete was a truly lovely man who was devoted to his two daughters Emma & Claire. He adored his grandchildren Paige, Caitlin, Sarah & John.
On the 30th March, Pete was rushed to Warrington Generals’s high dependency unit with Covid19. On the 1st April Pete was taken to ICU as he was struggling to breath & was placed on a ventilator on 4th April. After a few days on the 11th April he was stable enough to be transferred to Liverpool’s Alder Hey Hospital, they were unable to reduce the sedation medication Pete was on and he began to deteriorate from 17th April. Pete tried so hard to fight, but sadly on the 22nd April, Pete passed away in the early hours of the morning, both Emma and Claire were allowed to be with him for his final hours.
Our two beautiful friends are heartbroken & devastated, they have lost their Dad far too soon. As their friends, it is breaking us not being able to support them. Feeling so helpless, and with their blessing, we have set up this go fund me page to help them with any financial costs towards Pete's funeral and any other costs incurred.
We fully understand that everyone is suffering the effects of this horrendous deadly killer & the huge impact it is having on all our lives.
