Hi. My name is Samantha Amador. I am starting this GoFundMe to raise money for my beautiful mother, Peggy Zuleika Amador, who has just passed away on Thursday, September 26 at 4:32 pm. She had End Stage Cirrhosis of the Liver and Hepatic Encephalopathy, which meant she also had bleeding in her esophagus, so she was throwing up a lot of blood. She had two operations to try and fix her bleeding esophagus. This last time that she went into the hospital, the doctors and nurses had to wait for the bleeding to stop so they could stabilize her and proceed with another operation. That blood was also going to her stomach, and they were pumping that blood out, hoping it would stop the bleeding. But it never stopped. Her kidneys and liver had been failing for over a year at this point. The doctors had to put her on life support because she could no longer breathe on her own. Then they warned us that she was going to go into cardiac arrest soon. 30 minutes later, she passed.

Peggy was a free-spirited soul. She was a mother, a daughter, a sister, who was very adored and loved growing up. She was also a new grandma to two beautiful babies. She had a big heart and good intentions. My mom went through her struggles and traumas, but she always kept a smile on her face and tried to do the best she could for her kids and her doggies. She loved music and loved to dance; definitely the star of the show. She was so expressive and passionate about the things she loved in life. She definitely left a mark on everyone who was in her life. My mom will forever be loved and missed.
