Cherished partner to Trish.

Much loved son to Robyn and Brian (dec) and loved brother to Shane.

So dearly loved, so sadly missed.

On Monday 12th September, we farewelled Paul ‘Birdman’ Stewart, with a service at Barrabool Hills Auditorium followed by a get-together at Lethbridge Cricket Club. The love for Paul and the magnitude of his loss was palpable; people shared their memories and stories of a man they deeply respected and admired, who entertained them, guided them, coached them, made them laugh, and who had time for everyone.

More than anything, Paul will be remembered as a loving father to his gorgeous kids; Brayden, Patrick, Tommy, and Lily.

This GoFundMe has been set up to help Trish cover the cost of Paul’s funeral, and if any funds are raised beyond that amount, to contribute to the family’s living expenses over the next few months while they navigate life after losing Paul.

Trish is undoubtedly the most compassionate, generous, courageous, loyal and loving person I’ve had the privilege of calling a friend. She is strong beyond belief, and is always the first person to help out anyone and everyone around her. Unfortunately, being so fiercely strong also comes with a side of stubbornness, which can make it difficult to accept help (particularly financial assistance). Despite her reluctance, I would love for this fundraiser to relieve some of the financial burden, so she can instead focus on healing along with her children.
