In Loving Memory of Paul “Paulie” Balzarano
Paul Balzarano was a beloved son, brother, cousin, friend, and colleague to so many. He was the kind of person who never met a stranger—anyone who crossed his path quickly became a friend. He had a smile that lit up every room, a larger-than-life personality, and a laugh so genuine and full that it often brought tears to his eyes—along with everyone lucky enough to share in the moment. Paulie brought light, humor, and energy wherever he went, and his presence is something that can never be replaced. He loved his family fiercely and cherished his friends beyond measure. His loyalty ran deep, and if you were lucky enough to be part of his circle, you knew you had someone who would always stand by you.
Paulie graduated from Rocky Point High School in 2001. From a young age, Paulie had a natural talent for mechanics and a deep curiosity for how things worked. He had a true passion for cars—especially restoring Mustangs—and took great pride in his work. Much of his life’s savings was invested in his tools, which meant everything to him and reflected his dedication to his craft.
Our family is devastated by this tragic and senseless loss. At this time, Paulie’s mother is traveling from Virginia Beach to Connecticut as the investigation continues, and our family is also planning to honor and celebrate his life on Long Island, New York—where so many memories were made. We are humbly asking for any support to help cover the costs of memorial services, travel expenses, and legal fees as we pursue justice on Paulie’s behalf. Any contribution, no matter the size, as well as shares and prayers, means more to our family than words can express. Thank you for helping us honor Paulie’s life and keep his memory alive.
