In loving memory of Papa Abe…

We’re heartbroken to share that our uncle, Papa Abe (Abedin Launte), has passed away after fighting a long, tough battle with lymphoma cancer. He gave it everything he had — went through rounds of chemo, stayed strong for as long as he could — but in the end, his body just couldn’t take it anymore.

To our family, Papa Abe wasn’t just an uncle — he was our father figure. He raised us, looked out for us, and loved us like we were his own. He was the one we ran to when life got hard, the one who made sure we never felt alone. No matter what was going on in his life, he always put others first. That’s just the kind of man he was — selfless, caring, and full of quiet strength.

Losing him has left a huge hole in our hearts. And now, we’re facing something we didn’t want to — we’re struggling to give him the funeral he deserves. We want to lay him to rest with dignity, surrounded by love, but the truth is, we just don’t have the funds to do it on our own.

We’re reaching out and asking for help — anything you can give will go directly toward his funeral and burial costs. Even just a small donation or a share can make a huge difference.
