In Loving Memory of our Superman, Ron Yutko

In the early hours of January 20th, 2026, Ron Yutko passed away peacefully with his loving family by his side, as they always have been throughout his fight with cancer. Ron was a beloved and fiercely protective husband to Eileen, father to Alyssa and Lauren, father-in-law to Jason and Eric, Pop Pop to Lily Rose, and a loving brother, uncle and friend to many. Those who know the Yutkos know the many obstacles they have faced over the years. Ron, appropriately referred to as “Superman” by loved ones, fought various health challenges including brain tumors, bladder cancer and mesothelioma (the latter of which Ron courageously battled for an astounding 8 years). The trials he faced would have broken down most people, but Ron demonstrated bravery and resilience like no one I have ever known, always putting his family before himself even on his most difficult days. We will all deeply miss his presence, his sense of humor, his honesty, his life advice, and above all else his love.

His family now is faced with their most difficult challenge as they navigate life after this tremendous loss, while also managing medical and funeral expenses. Ron’s wife Eileen has been the epitome of strength for well over a decade, the glue that held her family together through every obstacle they faced. She has been the most selfless and caring person not just for her family, but for friends and neighbors in need. Now is the time for all of us to be there for the Yutkos more than ever.

As a close family friend, I wanted to start this fundraiser as a means for our community to come together and support the Yutko family through this difficult time, alleviating any amount of stress possible so they can focus on being together and honor the memory and life of this amazing man who meant so much to all of us.

Whether you are able to donate, share, offer prayers or kind words, your thoughtfulness is appreciated more than words could ever describe. Thank you all from the bottom of our hearts!
