On Monday, March 6th the world unexpectedly lost an incredible woman, Chandelle Martinez. Chandelle is an adored daughter, sister, aunt, friend and most importantly wife to Cris and mother to Stormie and Jaden. She also acted as a surrogate mother to countless other humans in her lifetime. Chandelle also loved her doggies, other peoples doggies, okay all the dogs! Her smile inviting and kind and so hilarious, her laughter phenomenal. She is a force of nature, making all of us feel loved and welcome. I say “is” because we are not ready to let go and won’t, she will live on within so many that love her. Chandelle dealt with many heartbreaks and traumas in her lifetime but they never stopped her from moving forward, starting again and her huge heart became even more loving through these difficulties. If anyone needed her, she was there, she was your cheerleader and also a leader. The voice to many when they couldn’t find their own. She was the love, acceptance and the fighter for so many people who needed it. Truly an unforgettable human! Unfortunately life has a way of reminding us how fragile every day is and from this day forward Cris, Stormie, Jaden, her parents and dozens of others have to learn how to live without Chandelle, our Queen Bee. As many know Chandelle lost her sister to Cancer in 2021 and both Chandelle and her Mother have gone through Cancer treatment this past year. In addition, there have been many other unforeseen health hurdles. Cris has been by her side at every moment and has limited time to process and grieve through paid FMLA leave. A plethora of bills have stacked up through their journey. Our goal is to help Cris with the many financial burdens that have accrued so that he can have one stressor lifting from him as he learns to navigate this life without his love, his partner, his best friend. There is no amount that is too small as it all adds up to financial relief during this impossible time. Fly high Queen Bee, you will never be forgotten and will be missed always.
