In Loving Memory of Our Precious Abuelita
Donation protected
Hi everyone, family and friends,
As many of you have seen on social media, our precious abuelita passed away on June 17, 2025. She was 84 years old and spent every one of those years fighting with incredible strength and grace. Over her lifetime, she overcame heart surgery, breast cancer, diabetes, kidney failure, and so much more. She was our true warrior.
This past Saturday night, she suffered a heart attack and was placed on a breathing tube. She held on for as long as she could, but today she peacefully let go. The pain of this loss is indescribable. Our abuelita was our world, the heart and foundation of our family.
She loved nothing more than being surrounded by her family. Seeing us together, laughing, and happy brought her the greatest joy. She was a mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, daughter, sister, cousin, and friend. To everyone who knew her, she was a sweet soul with unmatched strength and warmth.
What makes this even harder is that we are grieving in a world where mourning is not free. In a society where everything comes with a cost, we have not had the space to simply mourn her loss without the weight of financial stress. Instead of having time to grieve, we have had to immediately start thinking about hospital bills, funeral arrangements, and unexpected expenses. It is a heartbreaking reality that so many families face, and we are living it now.
We do not like asking for help, and to be honest, we are not comfortable creating this GoFundMe. But we have reached a place where we know we cannot do this alone. If you are able to contribute or share this page, we would be incredibly grateful. Every dollar, every repost, and every prayer means more than we can say.
Thank you all for your love, your kindness, and for holding our family in your hearts. We will miss our precious Abuelita every single day.
