It is with the heaviest of hearts that we share the devastating news that our dear friend Paul has sadly passed away after bravely battling a rare blood condition. Despite everything he went through, Paul never lost his bubbling character, his infectious smile, or his incredible ability to make everyone around him feel lighter, happier, and loved.

Paul was truly one of a kind ,a kind soul who brightened every room he walked into. Whether you knew him for years or just met him once, he had a way of making you feel like an old friend.

Many will know Paul from The George Inn, Trottiscliffe, where he worked as a handyman , though to everyone there, he was so much more than that. He was the heart of the place: always ready with a joke, a helping hand, or a story that made you laugh until your sides hurt. The pub, and the community around it, simply won’t be the same without him.

We are setting up this GoFundMe to give Paul the beautiful send-off he deserves.
