In loving memory of our mother, Ann Kuajok
Donation protected
On August 25th 2023, our mother Ann Kuajok lost her battle to cancer. Ann showed tremendous strength and fought relentlessly to overcome the challenges she and our family faced since her diagnoses in 2021. During the last two years, our late mother underwent extensive treatment, which came with many sacrifices. Throughout all the obstacles, Ann displayed the highest level of courage, patience, and a contagious faith that our family will overcome this difficult time. Once the cancer spread throughout her body and the options became limited, Ann did not succumb to the situation at hand and continued to uplift her loved ones with words of encouragement and maintained a positive attitude that was felt by the communities she has been involved in throughout her extraordinary life. Ann was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. Her commitment to the betterment of the lives of her family members was unbreakable and her hard work and discipline will be forever admired by everyone she has met.
Unfortunately, the time has come for our family to express our final goodbyes and put her body to rest. Our mother, Ann, came to Canada to create opportunities for her children to live the best life they could. Once her children were fully independent, she planned to return to her birthplace Juba, South Sudan to live the remainder of her life in the city she was raised in. Although, she never got to fulfill this goal, our family is putting forth our best effort to send her body back to Juba for burial. This is where she would’ve liked to end her journey and a place that is special to our family. She has family members in Juba, including her eldest daughter, who are yearning to see her one last time. Now, our family is seeking support funds to deal with the financial burden of the funeral and on-going responsibilities we must face, because of this tragedy. Although she has passed away, Ann Kuajok will live forever in our hearts. We sincerely appreciate the outpour of support from everyone who has expressed their condolences since her transition and diagnoses. Feel free to share this page and any amount of donation is appreciated!
