In loving memory of our mom, Ola

Hi, my name is Lei, and I’m writing this with the heaviest heart on behalf of my younger siblings and our family.

On the 7th of June, we lost our beloved mum.!Mum didn’t deserve to go this soon. She was the heart and soul of our family, strong, kind and full of love. Her laughter filled every room. Her strength held us together. She was our safe place, our comfort, our biggest supporter, and our greatest teacher.

She leaves behind five children, four of us are still between the ages of 8 and 16. All of us are heartbroken, trying to come to terms with this unimaginable loss. Life without her feels impossible, but we are doing our best to stay strong for one another, just as she would have wanted.

Due to the sudden nature of her passing, there were no prior arrangements in place to cover funeral costs or provide for her children going forward. We’ve set up this GoFundMe to ask for help — something our mum rarely did, but something we now deeply need.

Funds raised will go towards:

* Giving Mum the beautiful farewell she deserves

* Supporting the daily needs of her younger children

* Helping provide some stability as we begin to rebuild our lives
