It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of our beloved mother, Nancy Barrett, who lost her courageous battle with metastatic breast cancer. After fighting with strength and grace, she spent her final days at home surrounded by love, under the compassionate care of her children.

In her final days, we had the honor of caring for her —holding her hand, helping her rest, and making sure she was never alone. Being able to care for her at home, just as she had always cared for us, was the greatest gift we could give her.

Our mom was the heart of our family: strong, nurturing, and endlessly selfless. Even as her body weakened, her spirit remained full of grace and warmth. Just weeks before her passing, we also experienced the devastating and unexpected loss of our father. Now, as three children left behind, we are doing our best to stay strong in the face of losing both of our parents so close together.
