Rest in peace, Mom. Our mom was the kind of person who carried compassion in everything she did. She was outspoken, warm, and never hesitated to talk to a stranger like they were already a friend. She gave a helping hand to anyone who needed it. If someone was in the hospital, she visited. If a neighbor needed something, she showed up. Her heart was open, always. She cared deeply for people and even for the small, forgotten things in the world, like the pigeons she tried to save. That was who she was: a woman full of kindness, love, and an instinct to nurture.

Our hearts are shattered. Our mom was a light, warm, and losing her has left a silence we don’t know how to fill. Grief has a way of stopping the world, and yet life keeps moving, bringing responsibilities no one is ever ready for… including the cost of her service and financial burdens.
