In Loving Memory of Our Incredible Mom: We Need Your Help

Dear friends, family, and kind-hearted strangers,

We come to you today with heavy hearts to share the story of an extraordinary woman who has touched the lives of so many. Our beloved mother, Debra Bowers(Shepard), was a vibrant, fun-loving soul who radiated love and joy wherever she went. Her laughter was infectious, and her kindness knew no bounds. She dedicated her life to caring for others, always putting their needs before her own.

Unfortunately, we find ourselves in a difficult situation. As we navigate the profound grief of losing her so unexpectedly, we are also faced with the unexpected financial burden of laying her to rest. She was not able to get life insurance as it would have prevented her from staying in the facility that was insuring her safety and well being as she was battling moderate dementia an only my sister and I could help take care of her. Her mobility had gotten to a point she required paramedic  each time she had fallen. Long term medicaid allowed her to have $74.00 a month for her personal needs and wants. Due to this and how fast she got sick as sepsis is her diagnosis for death. The costs associated with her final arrangements have exceeded our means, and we are reaching out for help during this challenging time. The cremation alone is $1600.00. We are hoping to raise enough to be able to open services up to more people whose lives she touched, that would require a bit more then cremation costs.

We want to honor her memory in a way that reflects the love and joy she brought into our lives. Our goal is to raise $2,000 to cover the necessary expenses for her memorial service and burial. Every contribution, no matter how small, will make a significant difference and help us give her the send-off she truly deserves. We also understand not everyone can contribute so even sharing thos may reach someone who can and help.

Our mother was a beacon of light in our lives, and we know she impacted countless others as well.
