Hello my name is Sue Cooper, and I am raising money for my old friend Ozzy.

On Christmas Day, we lost our beloved friend Ozzy. He was a loving and caring man, always smiling, always dancing, and always bringing warmth to everyone around him. Ozzy had a deep love for music — it lived in his heart and flowed through everything he did. If there was music playing, Ozzy was alive in his happiest place.

I was lucky enough to call Ozzy my friend for over 40 years. Over those decades, he created countless memories filled with laughter, kindness, and joy. He had a rare ability to make people feel seen, welcomed, and uplifted just by being himself.

Sadly, due to his family relinquishing responsibility for the arrangements, and social services have taken over the funeral arrangements we are now raising funds to give Ozzy the farewell he truly deserves. This fundraiser is to help cover the costs of the celebration of his life after the funeral service and to honour his life with dignity, respect, and love.
