Today, as of May 11, 2026, our family lost the woman who held us together with quiet strength and endless love. Our grandmother passed peacefully in her sleep at age 85, leaving behind generations who were blessed by her care, sacrifice, and kindness.
Born on February 20, 1941, she endured hardships most could never imagine. After surviving the Cambodian genocide, she came to the United States seeking safety and a better future for her children. As a single mother, she carried the weight of life's struggles with courage and determination, always putting her family before herself.
Even as dementia slowly changed parts of her memory and attitude, it never took away the warmth in her heart when she was herself. She continued to show her grandchildren unconditional love, gentle kindness, and the same caring spirit we will forever remember.
We want to honor her life with a beautiful and dignified service that reflects the love she gave so freely to others. Any donations will help our family with funeral and memorial expenses as we lay her to rest peacefully.
If you are unable to donate, we ask that you keep our family in your thoughts and prayers during this painful time. Thank you for helping us celebrate the life of an incredible woman whose strength and love will stay with us always.
