It is with the heaviest hearts that we share the passing of our beloved father, Tsegay Tesfay, after his courageous battle with terminal cancer. He fought with everything he had, holding on with strength, faith, and love for his family until the very end.

Our father was more than just a parent he was our protector, our teacher, our biggest supporter, and our example of what it means to live a life of kindness and integrity. He was a loving father, brother, and grandfather who poured his heart into his family. He was funny, outgoing, adventurous, and wonderfully down to earth. His smile could light up a room, and his presence made everyone feel welcomed and valued.

Anyone who had the blessing of knowing him speaks of his warmth and generosity. He had a way of making people feel seen and cared for. Above all, he was a deeply God-fearing man whose faith guided the way he lived his life with humility, compassion, and service to others.

He spent so much of his life making sure everyone around him was taken care of. Now, as we navigate this unimaginable loss, we humbly ask for your prayers and support. One of his final wishes was to be laid to rest at the church he built in his hometown of Eritrea a place that meant so much to him and reflects the legacy of faith and love he leaves behind.
