In Loving Memory of Our Sweet Kennedi
Our precious baby Kennedi was born with Apert Syndrome, a rare genetic condition that presented many challenges from the start. While doctors gave us a list of limitations—saying she may never walk, talk, or care for herself—Kennedi had her own plans. She defied every odd placed against her. She walked. She talked. She danced. She laughed. She loved. And most of all, she brought so much joy, sass, and light into our lives.
From a young age, Kennedi underwent numerous surgeries, each one met with bravery beyond her years. Her resilience was unmatched. She faced every hospital stay, every procedure, and every hard day with the kind of spirit that inspired everyone around her. She was truly magic.
On March 11th, 2025, Kennedi went in for what was expected to be a routine surgery to help her continue living the fullest life possible. Tragically, during the procedure, she suffered a major complication involving massive blood loss and oxygen deprivation to her brain and organs. She later endured two strokes, a collapsed lung, and pneumonia. After extensive testing, doctors confirmed that she would not recover—and could no longer breathe or function without full life support.
On March 21st, surrounded by love, Kennedi transitioned peacefully. It was the hardest decision our family has ever faced, but we know she is no longer in pain.
We are devastated. We are grieving. And we are trying to navigate the unimaginable while honoring Kennedi’s beautiful spirit.
This GoFundMe has been created to support our family during this incredibly difficult time—with funeral expenses, time away from work, and the many unexpected costs that come with such a heartbreaking loss. Any contribution, no matter how big or small, is deeply appreciated.
Thank you for your love, your prayers, and for holding our family close as we honor the memory of our bright, beautiful girl. Kennedi changed our lives, and we will carry her spirit with us forever.
