- O
To my family, friends, and social media family, I call on anyone who is a parent to hold their kids tight and cherish every moment you have with them. Life can change in an instant, especially if your child drowns.
Our little Angel, Zaire. On August 28, 2020, sweet Zaire turned two-years old. On Friday September 4th, his family was celebrating their recent wedding and Zaire’s second birthday. Zaire somehow ventured his way out the back screen door into the backyard, where he tumbled into the pool. When he was discovered in the water, unresponsive and later discovered to be in full cardiac arrest. It would be what seemed like a lifetime of CPR before doctors were able to find a pulse. Zaire was airlifted to the pediatric hospital in Pensacola Florida, however due to the length of time without oxygen Zaire suffered brain damage and was unable to recover from the injuries.
It is so hard for us to ask for this assistance especially with the recent pandemic, but we will do whatever we need to do to ensure we celebrate the life of Zaire.
Anything you could give at this point would be a blessing to us. God be with all of you in these trying times and thank you so much for your consideration and generosity! All funds raised will be used to help with burial and medical expenses.
With much love, The Middlebrooks Family
