In Loving Memory of our Andy Salas
Donation protected
It is with the heaviest of hearts that we write this. Our beloved brother, son, father and friend, Andy Salas, has been taken from us. Departing this earth to continue his new journey as the warrior we all knew him to be.
Early Thursday morning, December 22nd, Andy and his youngest brother Matthew and 2 son’s Salamon and Noah were involved in a horrific accident. They were struck by a reckless driver while outside their vehicle adjusting a load. Andy died young at only 33 years of age. By the grace of God, Matthew, Salamon and Noah survived. Although, Noah is critically injured, and is currently in ICU. Noah has many more medical procedures and obstacles to overcome before he can resume a normal life without his father. We are devastated and absolutely heartbroken. To understand the impact of losing Andy, you must understand the kind of person he was. Andy was a wonderful son, brother to 4 siblings, and a father to 4 beautiful children: Salamon (14), Noah (13), Cataleya (7), and Ares (6). Andy had a beautiful soul and was one of the hardest working people you could ever get to meet or know. He had such a generous heart and would come help you out no matter the situation or time of day. Andy knew how to do pretty much everything! He could fix a car, mend a fence, revive your dying plants, tow a car--but the thing he was best at was making you laugh. Even when Andy was down or out, he would put others first and could always manage to elicit a smile out of someone. Andy was so brave; yet gentle, caring, and sensitive to everyone’s needs. He was the type of person that would give you the shirt right off of his back. He had big dreams and aspirations. His infectious laughter and energy brought joy to all. He loved so so so deeply, especially when loving his family and children.
With Andy’s sudden passing, his family will be facing many challenges. We are asking that family, friends, and the community provide us strength and support. Any donation, large or small, will help ease the financial stress and strain that comes with a death. The donations will be used for funeral and burial expenses. The remainder will be used for hospital expenses for Noah, and for the support of Matthew, Salamon, Cataleya and Ares.
Thank you all for your love and support. Andy would be so touched to know how much he was loved.
