In loving memory of Osiris Rain

If there ever comes a day
When we can’t be together
Keep me in your heart
I’ll stay there forever
-Winnie the Pooh
A mother should not outlive her child.
Last night, Osiris Rain was taken from this world, unexpectedly, unfairly, unplanned. The fatal accident that ended his 28 short years shock all who were blessed with his presence and love in this life. His spirit will live forever in the hearts of his family. In the tenderness of his mother Nadine’s and father Dave's hearts. In the laughter and memory of his brothers, Everest and Zion. And in the somber whimper of his dog, Cuevo.
Flowers wilt, yet it is expected. It rains sometimes in the summer, yet it is not always a surprise. A star shoots a blazing trail, with all its glory and excitement, seemingly by chance, yet in the end its accepted abundance does not shock.
This is an event that will never make sense.
Shiftless gears for broken wheels. Pain that kills the living.
Osiris’ life was spent loving those whose path he crossed, intentional or by chance. His kindness, generosity, and trusting nature were an example of unconditional love. Please take a minute to think of him, to channel a message of love to his soul that’s traveled to a better place. Take a moment to remember him of an example of a life we can strive to live: free in spirit and free in giving love.
The God Osiris was the God of rebirth in Ancient Egypt. We know and pray for his swift rebirth that he will be transformed and will be seen once again very soon.

If you are able, please consider contributing to this fund. The proceeds will provide a farewell to Osiris. A man, a son, a brother, a friend, taken way too soon. Thank you all for you love, support and prayers.
