Our family is heartbroken to share that Alfred Perea Sr., lovingly known as “Oldies Al,” has passed away. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend whose love for music, family, and life left an unforgettable mark on everyone who knew him.

Al was famous for his incredible oldies collection and his passion for sharing it. If you knew him, chances are you spent time with him listening to records, talking about music, or catching up at a car show. He loved spoiling his grandkids, playing with his grandpup Toby, and above all, being by the side of his beloved wife, Betty. In his later years, he showed his deepest love by caring for her as their health challenges grew.

As we work through this painful loss, we’re also faced with the difficult responsibility of planning his memorial. We want to give Al the heartfelt farewell he deserves, but the costs of funeral expenses, lingering medical bills, and Betty’s long-term care are more than our family can manage alone.

We’re reaching out to family and friends for support—whether through a donation, a prayer, or simply sharing a memory of Al. Any amount you can give will help ease the financial burden and allow us to focus on honoring his life and taking care of Betty.
