In loving memory of Oksana Kushnir

Oksana was born on October 10, 1979.  When she was 11 months old she sustained a brain injury which regressed her learning capabilities. At 2 1/2 years old she fell off a 2nd story balcony which worsened her impairment.

Because of those injuries Oksana needed full time care so she lived with her parents until the age of 41 when she was hospitalized COVID-19.

She was in the ICU for 10 days. On the 10th day her heart stopped beating and she passed away.

Her learning impairment did not impair her enjoyment of life.  Oksana loved listening to music, playing with animals and holding babies. Most of all she loved to make people laugh in the way that she could, one of her favorite things to do was to call people "George brown" and laugh.  Its still a mystery to this day were she picked that up from but it always had a way to make people smile.

The medical care and cost of funeral expenses place a heavy financial burden during a time that is already psychologically and financially stressed.

This GoFundMe page will help Oksana's family, Matryona and Timofey Kushnir with funeral and medical costs during this trying time.

Thank you for all your love, prayers, and support during this tragic time with the loss of Oksana.

Please forward this to anyone you know.
