It is with extremely heavy hearts that we share the devastating loss of Nykeyia Lewis, who was fatally struck by a vehicle as a pedestrian on Interstate 215 near Washington Street in Colton, CA, on February 14, 2026, at 3:55 a.m. According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident is still under investigation. Our family is heartbroken and still trying to process this unimaginable tragedy. Nykeyia was a beautiful, bright, and loving soul. She was a hard worker, highly educated, kind-hearted, and full of life. Anyone who knew her remembers her bubbly spirit, her warmth, and the genuine love she gave so freely. She touched countless lives, and her absence has left a deep void in the hearts of her family and friends. During this incredibly painful time, we are asking for support for the family as we navigate the emotional and financial burdens that come with such a sudden and tragic loss. Nykeyia’s passing has deeply impacted her loved ones, and any assistance will help provide stability and relief for the family during this difficult period of adjustment and healing.
