In Loving Memory of Nina Coover

Nina Coover was a brilliant, vibrant soul whose presence brought warmth, laughter, and light to everyone around her. She was smart, funny, and a bright shining star in her family. She was a favorite among her siblings, not because she tried to be, but simply because she was uniquely, unapologetically herself.

A talented graphic designer with a boundless creative spirit, Nina saw the world as a canvas, and she filled it with beauty, color, and meaning. She loved life and embraced every opportunity to explore it. Whether through travel, art, or deep conversations, she was always seeking to live fully; a truth she reminded her mother of often in their phone calls, telling her she was “living her best life.” And she truly was.

Nina was also fearless. According to one of her high school teachers, she never took bullshit from anyone. She stood her ground with grace and fire, defending her values, her beliefs, and what she knew was right. She had a rare ability to challenge the world around her without losing her kindness or compassion. Because of Nina, someone will be brave enough to stand up for others. Because of Nina, someone will feel the courage to be exactly who they are.

Nina was six months pregnant with her son, Elias Daniel Coover - a child she already loved with all her heart, whose name had already been chosen with care. Though he never got to take his first breath, Elias lived in her every heartbeat, every plan, and every dream she carried forward. They are now together, forever linked, their bond unbroken.

Nina leaves behind her loving family: her sister, her four brothers, her mother, and her father. Their hearts are heavy, but their memories of Nina, her laughter, her strength, her spark will carry them forward. She lived a life of authenticity, passion, and love, and though her time here was far too short, the impact she made is lasting.

She will be remembered not only for who she was, but for the love she gave, the truths she lived by, and the light she brought to all of our lives. Because of Nina, the world is better. Because of Nina, we will continue to live, love, and stand tall as her legacy.
