Nicolas Hinostroza was a 22-year-old with the brightest smile and the biggest heart. On January 18th, 2020 Nico’s life was taken unexpectedly in a car accident. 

Nico was set to graduate from Florida International University (FIU) as a finance and international business major in the Spring of 2021. On-campus, he was an active brother in the fraternity Pi Kappa Phi and the elections chair for FIU’s Student Government Association. Nico also had an internship with Merrill Lynch. 

Anyone who knew Nico could tell you how wonderful of a person he was. Nico worked for everything he had and always maintained a positive attitude. In middle school, Nico and his family immigrated to the United States. Nico worked hard to perfect his English and even became an avid and beloved member of his high school debate team. 

Nico was born in Ecuador and his family wishes to bring his ashes back to his hometown. However, Nico’s family is in need of financial support to make it possible. Please help us raise funds to honor the beautiful life of Nicolas Hinostroza. And please keep his family and loved ones in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
