In Loving Memory of Nicolae Isac

Our dear friend and colleague, Nicolae Isac unexpectedly passed away on June 13, 2021, leaving behind Lilia, and children, Nicoleta and Lilian.
Nicolae’s journey to Canada started from Moldova, where he specialized in construction, geodesy, and topography, which landed him a career at EllisDon as a Surveyor. He was a meticulous and attentive linguist, able to speak English, French, Russian and Romanian.
Nicolae exemplified pride in his work, and was energetic, assertive and optimistic. His enthusiasm was evident, as many of his colleagues found pleasure working with him. Nicolae has left his footprint on the various projects he’s worked on, including the Highway 7 vivaNext BRT lanes, Rutherford GO Station, and Stouffville Corridor GO stations. These projects are a testament to his work ethic, and contribution to society.
Nicolae’s legacy carries on with his children, Nicoleta and Lilian, who will continue to live on in his memory.
