With great sadness, we inform you of the passing of one of our own, Nick Tangorra. Nick passed away unexpectedly.

 

He loved the league and did so much to help it run smoothly. He was always cheerful, kind, and easy-going. We are so heartbroken.

 

Many of you saw his cheerful face at the field every Tuesday night or on Sundays as you arrived at the field. He was also working hard on our Friday men’s league to help grow our soccer family. He played on multiple teams in our league and was captain of many. He also officiated many games.

 

Besides his extended family, he is survived by his two kids, Giovanni and Michael, and his fiancé, Yeymi, another player in our league.

 

A GoFundMe has been started to help his family with funeral expenses and to help care for his two sons, whom he loved so much.

 

We will post any information regarding his service as soon as we know.
