In Loving Memory of Nicholos “Nick” Hatcher

On May 28, 2026, our family experienced the kind of heartbreak no family should ever have to endure. Nick was taken from us far too soon in a tragic act of violence in Livonia, Michigan — a loss that has shaken not only our family, but communities across the country and beyond.

Since the news spread, we have received an overwhelming outpouring of love, prayers, messages, and support from people near and far — including many who never had the chance to meet him personally, but were moved deeply by his story.

To everyone who has reached out, shared kind words, stood beside us, or simply held our family in your hearts… Thank you!

Many members of the community have asked how they can support our family during this unimaginable time... In response to those requests, this memorial fund has been created.

This is not a plea for help, but simply a space for those who wish to give, support, or honor Nick’s memory in a tangible way. Funds will support for the family, and the unforeseen needs that follow a tragedy of this magnitude as we navigate the difficult days ahead.

More than anything, we want people to remember who Nick was beyond the headlines. He was a son deeply loved by his family and community. His presence mattered.

His life carried meaning, and his absence leaves a space that cannot be replaced. As a family, we are choosing to move through this with grace, privacy, and love for one another. Your compassion has reminded us that humanity still exists, even in moments of devastating loss.

Whether you donate, share this page, send prayers, or simply speak his name with kindness — thank you for helping us honor his life.

With love and gratitude,

Nick’s Family
