On October 1, 2026, the Coofer family’s world changed forever when they unexpectedly lost their youngest son, Neven Coofer.

Neven was born on December 10, 2019, and in his short time here on Earth, he brought so much light, love, and joy into the lives of everyone around him. He was deeply loved by his parents, Dominik and Gordana, his brother Niko, his family, his friends, and so many others whose lives were made brighter simply because Neven was a part of them.

There are no words that can truly describe the heartbreak of losing a child, and there is no way to prepare for a loss like this. The pain that Dominik, Gordana, Niko, and those closest to Neven are carrying is unimaginable. Their lives have been changed in an instant, and now they are facing a road no family should ever have to walk.

So many people have already asked, “What can we do?” The truth is, there is nothing that can take away this kind of pain. But we can surround this family with love. We can pray for them. We can show up for them. And we can help carry some of the burdens they should not have to worry about while they are grieving the loss of their precious Neven.

This GoFundMe has been created to help ease the financial burden the Coofer family may face in the coming days, weeks, and months. Donations will help with funeral expenses, medical bills, and other unexpected financial needs that come during a time like this. Our hope is that by coming together, we can give Dominik and Gordana the space to focus on their family, on Niko, and on honoring and remembering Neven without the added weight of financial stress.
