On April 22nd, the 805 Volleyball Club lost a beloved coach and friend. Nels Rydberg was a caring, smart and wonderful coach.
He was one of the most gentle, kind hearted souls I've ever met and he will simply be irreplaceable.
Nels coached the same 805 team the last 2 years. His demeanor on the court was always calm, collective and supportive. His wife Julie would attend all of the tournaments as well. The parents and players have a wonderful relationship with her also.  New friendships were forged in the last two years. We are raising money for Julie as she was part of our team.  Nels and Julie are 805 family and we would love to show our support and love to Julie.
