Some people walk into your life and leave it brighter forever — Neha was that kind of person.

She was love in its purest form: kind without reason, gentle without trying, and strong in the quietest ways. Her warmth filled every space she entered, and her smile had a way of making even ordinary moments feel special.

On November 1st, 2025, Neha’s life was tragically cut short by a rare and sudden childbirth complication — Amniotic Fluid Embolism (AFE) — followed by DIC. Despite hours of desperate efforts by doctors through the night, she couldn’t be revived.

Before she left, Neha brought her greatest gift into this world — a beautiful baby boy, Avyaan Neha Mehrotra.

Avyaan is safe and home now, cared for by his father, Gautam, who is learning to navigate both heartbreak and fatherhood.

Neha and Gautam built a beautiful life together — they both worked hard, contributed equally to their home, and had spent years preparing to welcome their baby. Now, in her absence, the entire emotional and financial weight falls on Gautam’s shoulders — caring for Avyaan, managing the mortgage, and finding steady help through a nanny while trying to heal.

This fundraiser is our way of standing beside them — to help ease some of the burden as they navigate unimaginable grief.

Your support will go toward funeral arrangements, ongoing household and mortgage expenses, childcare and nanny support, counseling, and, if possible, a small education fund for Avyaan’s future.

Our goal is to raise $150,000 — enough to give Gautam and baby Avyaan a sense of stability while they rebuild their lives one day at a time.
