In Loving Memory of Navya (23): A Farmer’s Daughter’s Dream
Our hearts are shattered as we share the tragic passing of our dear Navya. At just 23, Navya was the pride and hope of her family.
A Life of Sacrifice and Ambition
The daughter of humble farmers in India, Navya moved to the U.S. last year for her Master’s degree. Her parents invested everything they had into her education, and she worked tirelessly with one goal: to build a career that would support them back home.
The Tragedy
Navya was returning from an internship interview in Michigan—a major step toward the future she promised her parents. In the early morning near Pittsburgh, the car in which Navya was a passenger was involved in a devastating accident. While the other occupant survived, Navya suffered critical injuries. After three major surgeries at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital, she passed away yesterday, April 9, 2026.
A Plea for Support
I am Navya’s aunt, based in Frisco, TX, and I am organizing this fund to support her heartbroken parents. They have not only lost their beloved daughter but the future they worked so hard to build. We are raising funds for:
• Medical & ICU Expenses: From her brave battle in the hospital.
• Final Journey: Transportation costs to send Navya back home to her parents in India.
• Support for her Parents: Helping these grieving farmers navigate the financial void left by this tragedy.
In our community, we stand together as one family. Please consider donating or sharing this link to help a daughter return to her parents one last time.
Om Shanti. May her soul rest in eternal peace.
