Our world shattered on 2nd June 2026 when we lost Nathan. A son, a father, a brother, a partner, a fighter, and a man whose heart was far bigger than the battles he faced.
Nathan’s life was never easy. From a young age he carried burdens most people will never understand. But he fought every single day, with a strength that was both inspiring and heartbreaking. He fought for his future, for his children, for the people he loved, and for the dream that kept him going: becoming “The Guvnor.”
Many people don’t know the full extent of what Nathan survived. He battled serious illness for years, and at one point travelled all the way to Switzerland for life‑saving treatment. Against every odd, he pulled through. He came home, rebuilt himself piece by piece, and stepped back into the bare‑knuckle world he loved. That was Nathan a man who refused to stay down, no matter how hard life hit him.
For five years, I stood beside him through thick and thin. I saw the fighter the world admired, but I also saw the man behind the gloves, the man with a soft heart, a fierce loyalty, and a love for his children that ran deeper than anything. He was proud, stubborn, passionate, and unforgettable.
Nathan touched so many lives. Through his fighting career, through his friendships, through the community that cheered him on, and through the quiet moments where he showed the gentleness most people never got to see.
Losing him has left a hole in our lives that can never be filled.
Now, as a family, we want to give him the farewell he deserves a send‑off worthy of the warrior he was.
We are asking for support from his friends, the boxing and bare‑knuckle community, and anyone whose life he touched. Any contribution, no matter how small, will help us lay Nathan to rest with dignity, honour, and love.
Thank you for reading, for caring, and for helping us give “The Guvnor” the goodbye he truly earned.
He will never be forgotten. His fight, his heart, and his spirit live on in all of us.
Thank you for being there for him and for us.
