Today, a dear friend of mine, Brenda Gutierrez, lost her very young and beautiful sister, Nancy Gutierrez. Brenda and her mother, Irma Navarro—and the rest of their family—are now living in a horrendous world of pain and sorrow.
Sadly, Nancy was only 16-years-old, but she was a beloved niece, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend to many; her loss is felt profoundly and deeply. The Gutierrez/Navarro family is utterly devastated at this sudden and tragic loss and I would like to help them begin to navigate through the unimaginably dark and painful days that lay ahead for them by starting this fundraiser for Brenda and her mother.
Therefore, on behalf of Brenda Gutierrez and her mom, I kindly ask that if you are able to, please make a monetary contribution so we can help Brenda's family pay for Nancy's funeral and medical expenses in addition to any needed meals or other bills, etc.—donations will also help to make up for the expected loss of wages while Brenda and her mother take time off of work to grieve and process this absolutely devastating life event.
