In Loving Memory of Theresa – A Life Full of Love, Animals, and Family

Theresa, the heart and soul of her family, was a woman who lived life with boundless love, fierce determination, and a whole lot of laughter. Back in 1970, she and her beloved husband Bob bought a farm, setting the stage for a lifetime of memories. Together, they raised four beautiful daughters—Lindy, Tammy, Cindy, and Wendy—on a farm that was as full of life as their home. From sheep and donkeys to chickens, geese, and cows, the animals were as much a part of their family as the girls themselves.

But it wasn’t just the animals that made their home so special—it was the love that filled every corner. Theresa had a heart that could hold a thousand memories, each one a testament to her kindness and her unwavering devotion to her family. Her love for her husband was no different. In 2010, when Bob was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s, Theresa was right there, beside him, taking care of him with the same strength and grace that defined her. She was his rock, and she never once faltered, even as the disease slowly took him from her. Bob passed away in 2012, and though the loss was heartbreaking, Theresa continued to live on with that same resilience, showing all of us what it meant to love and care for those who needed it most.

In a twist of fate, just four weeks ago, our beloved Nan—Theresa—was given her own diagnosis: lung cancer. True to form, she faced this new challenge with the same courage and humor that defined her life. On September 14th, surrounded by her two daughters, Tammy and Lindy, Nan passed peacefully, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and memories that will last a lifetime.

Nan’s love for life, family, and the little things—like a cheeky cigarette—was something that always made us smile. No matter what life threw at her, she always had time for one last cigarette, even when we all knew it wasn’t the best idea. She was unapologetically herself, and that’s one of the many things we loved most about her.

In honor of Nan's wishes, and to continue her legacy of giving, we are raising funds for **Hospice of the Weald** and **Alzheimer’s Society**, two organizations that were incredibly close to her heart. Your donations will go toward helping others receive the same compassionate care that our family was so fortunate to experience.

Nan’s final wish was simple: that her love would continue to help others, just as she did for so many throughout her life. Thank you for helping us fulfill that wish and for keeping her memory alive.
