It is with profound sadness and broken hearts that we share the sudden and unexpected passing of Namitha Sebastian on May 7th 2026. Namitha was a valued member of the Terrace, British Columbia community.

Namitha passed away unexpectedly following a scheduled medical surgery. Her sudden loss has left her husband, Jithin Jacob Thomas, and their daughter, Nathania Jithin Thomas, as well as family and friends, in deep shock and profound grief.

Namitha was a devoted mother who worked tirelessly every day to provide for and support her family. Her daughter meant everything to her. The love, guidance, and dedication she showed to her family were truly inspiring. Her passing has left her husband facing the unimaginable reality of raising their 5-year-old daughter on his own.

This GoFundMe has been created to help support Jithin and Nathania as they navigate this painful and heartbreaking loss. As Namitha passed away in Prince George, the family is also facing the significant financial burden of bringing her home to Terrace to lay her to rest. In addition to transportation and funeral expenses, the family is hoping to bring close relatives from Kerala to Terrace so they may pay their final respects.
