Hi everyone, on behalf of Nacho's "Kala" friends and family I wanted to let everyone know that sadly he passed away on January 21, 2023. He was surfing at the Cove, and once he got out of the water he was not feeling well, and once he sat down he had a heart attack. Unfortunately, the paramedics couldn’t save him.

As I considered Nacho "Kala" a member of my family since I have memory, I wanted to start this GoFundMe will be used to help pay for medical, funeral service, the cremation process, and airline tickets. His brother will be flying out from Argentina to Maui to help with everything. Any donations would be greatly appreciated to be able to help cover those expenses. As I am not currently on Maui, Ignacio Amuchastegui, who was one of Nacho's best friends, will be the beneficiary of these funds to ensure they are distributed to cover the expenses.

Thank you to everyone who was a part of his life, he will be deeply missed. We will keep everyone posted on when we will have his celebration of life.

If anyone would like to share any photos/videos/memories with Nacho please send them to Leilani's email.
