In Loving Memory of Myra Sykora
Donation protected
On the 28 Feb 2021, Myra Sykora found that it was time to put on her angel wings and join her mother in the sky, free of pain, therapy, medication and surgeries. Myra was 11 years old and was the middle child next to Jenae (13) and Saxon (10). This funding will go directly into funeral and memorial expenses, support for Jenae and Saxon and also something of Myra to go back to Western Australia to join her mothers resting place.
Myra had a profound effect on the entire family and everyone else who was lucky to meet her. She gave us a unique shared experience which affected all aspects of our lives. Myra's presence felt grounding. She increased our awareness of our own inner strength, enhanced our family cohesion and encouraged connections on a spiritual level.
Myra was diagnosed with Lissencephally - Miller Deiker Syndrome. This is a rare brain disorder where the whole or parts of the surface of the brain appear smooth, caused by defective neuronal migration. Myra could never walk, talk or see properly. Her list of symptoms were long and her needs even longer.
Any donation is appreciated. Thank you for your support.
