My Dear Son, Nicholas James Zuniga was granted his wings on Wednesday December 9th 2020. He was only sitting on a sidewalk, a block away from his home where he was shot in the chest.


This devastating loss has left our family lost, broken and hurt.

Our family chain is now broken and will never be the same. Nick was a loving son, brother, uncle and nino. Always with the same calming demeanor. He was a selfless human being, who loved to listen to music all day and who loved being with his family. Nick taught us the true definition of honesty and resilience. 


Nick will truly be missed by everyone whose life he touched.

If love alone could have saved you, you never would have died.

In life, I loved you dearly. In death, I love you still.

All the pain and grief is over. You are now at peace forever, you safely made it home.
